If you live near Sukhumvit you might not be familiar with the Victory Monument but it is quite popular with the young Thai people and a nice area to be in.

Rangnam Rd. is where many restaurants and cafes are lined up and quite different from Victory Monument station.

On Rangnam Rd. great cafes for PC work or studying is either Were Bean Coffee of Let’s Say Cafe.

This time I would introduce you to Were Bean Coffee.

The Atmosphere of this cafe

If you are looking for a fancy type cafe, this might not be the one.

Although there are people chatting with friends, fiddle around with their smartphones but I personally think this cafe is suited for PC works.

If you are looking for a cafe on Rangnam Rd. where you can focus on work Were Bean Coffee would be definitely adequate.

Coming in from the entrance, on your left is the counter cashier where you will order your drink.

I didn’t take a picture of the menu but most of the ordinary menus like Ice Lattes and Cappuccinos are a little less than 100 baht and with frappés being around little over 100 baht.

They will hand out your order at the counter next to the cashier, like Starbucks.

Get your seat before your drinks are handed out to you. Depending on the time it can get quite busy with pleasant seats filled up.

The picture of the 1st floor of 2 story cafe from the stairs.

As you can see there are many seats but most of the tables are taken.

There is a large table in front of the cashier which is usually open but it’s an aisle seat so you might not be able to relax.

Huge space the second floor, terrace seats the ground floor

There were many seats on the first floor but there are even more on the second.

These seats are nearly taken as well.

But even if it’s busy it will be rare to not be able to find a seat.

If you go in the morning there will be fewer people. The earlier the better for comfortable working.

In the afternoon students and people with various professions start coming in and it can get quite crowded.

Wi-Fi and plug-ins are available but not all seats have them so make sure you check before you get seated.

For smokers, there is a terrace seat available on the first floor along Rangnam Rd.

But if you seated on the second floor it’s a bit of a hassle to go down to smoke so I recommend getting a seat on the first floor if you are a smoker.

Close to BTS station

What interests you the most, location. Only a 5-minute walk from Victory Monument BTS.

Also, if this place is too crowded, walk a little further down and there will be cafes like Let’s Say Cafe and Chibi Chibi Cafe & Atelier also good for PC work.

If you compare it to Were Bean Coffee it is a lot smaller but either way, it will be quite rare not finding a seat in all 3 cafes being too crowded.

The overview of Were Bean Coffee

If you take a little walk from Victory Monument BTS you’ll find various types of cafes.

But if you’re looking for one to do PC work or to focus on studying, go to Were Bean Coffee first.

Just coming here to chill is great as well so feel free to go.
