At the moment in Bangkok, unprecedented popularity over cafes have risen. I feel it has been this way for the past few years now.
Among them, Factory Coffee is not just popular with the locals but also to foreigners (mainly Chinese and Koreans) as well.
It is within walking distance from Phaya Thai Station (BTS) also if you live on Sukhumvit you can get there by train with no hassles with transfers.

The Atmosphere of this cafe
I feel this cafe is for just enjoying your coffee or for photos rather than working or studying.
So if you looking for somewhere to do work on your laptop, I recommend other cafes that I will be posting later.
A picture above is the storefront and below is the seat outside the cafe.
The concrete-block wall, It really matches with the stylish look inside.
As I went in the cafe the checkout cashier is right in front of me so I ordered there.
There are so many fancy cool drinks to choose from, I can imagine that some people might get a little overwhelmed(I’ve posted a picture of the menu below ).
But you do not have to worry, just tell them something like you want something sweet or refreshing and they will give you some recommendations.
It is not relatively a spacious place but they have 50 seats despite having so much space in front of the cashier.
Be aware of the time you go. The cafe can get pretty busy with too many people and you wouldn’t be able to relax.
It seems to be crowded whether it’s a weekday or weekend but even if its on a weekend the mornings are clam so this is might be the time you want to go.
Factory Coffee’s Menu
They do have the classic latte and cappuccino but if you come here I recommend the fancy signature drinks.
Despite being a famous cafe, the prices are reasonable.
But just from looking at the menu, its difficult to imagine what kind of taste the coffee has.
I’ve been to this cafe a few times but first of all, I would like to show the two drinks, Mrs. Cold and Supreme.
Picture of Mrs. Cold above.
It makes you feel like you need to mix the drink up since the coffee is on top but there is no need, I was told to just drink it as it is.
Despite how it looks, the popular cafe, as it is, sure do know what they are doing with this rich and tasty coffee.
When you order Supreme the staff brings it to your table and pours the coffee in front of you.
They could have just got the drink ready then serve, I thought, but anyway, I needed to take a picture of this fancy looking drink.
Here is the drink after pouring the coffee in. It looks so fancy it feels as if it’s a waste drinking it.
This drink also tasted very sweet but it was delicious.
Despite having a wide range of dishes every one of them is lip-smacking.
I really recommend this cafe for all you coffee lovers.
I also had a croissant.
The size was about a mouthful and the price was around 60 to 70 baht. It was pretty good with a moist texture.
I’m not quite used to food report so I will leave it at that.
National number 1 barista of 2017 works at this cafe
One of the reasons Factory Coffee became so popular is that they have a 2017 barista champion at this cafe.
It seems like this is the trophy from the competitions. They are well placed on this shelf.
But of course, there are many more staff members at the cafe so your coffee will not always get served by the number 1 barista.
I’m not sure if he’s in this picture.
The barista champ’s name is Mr Biu.

Handsome looking young man.
You’ll definitely understand why this cafe is number 1 just from a cup of coffee.
The overview of Factory Coffee
There are a quite of few unique cafes near BTS Phaya Thai.
But if you looking for a fancy stylish cafe this should be on top of your list.
I recommend this cafe to not just the foreigners living in Bangkok, but to the tourists as well.
