There are many tourists and expats living in Thailand who shop at Duty-Free shops in Bangkok.

One of the famous ones is King Power Duty-Free in Rang Nam Road.

Bean Around Cafe is located right in front of it with Wi-Fi and plug-ins.  (for some seats)

The Atmosphere of this cafe

My first impression of this cafe was ”It seems like a cafe that would be in Pattaya”

I’m not sure why I felt that way, it may be because there was a Caucasian chatting with laughter at the terrace seat.

It’s a cafe where people living closeby come since Rang Nam street where there are long-stay many expats.

You will see the cashier right in front of you as you go in from the entrance. You’ll be ordering your drinks and foods here.

With light dishes like Pasta, it sure is a ”cafe”.

The place is not big but the inside is spacious and you’ll be able to relax and chill.

It gets crowded in the evenings but during the day it is quite calm.

These seats with plug-ins will be perfect to do some work on your laptop.

But there is a better cafe to do work nearby on Rang Nam road called Were Bean Coffee.

Therefore, this place might be better for just chilling or waiting for your girlfriend to get done with her shopping at the Duty-Free Store.

They do not have parking but there is one at the King Power with a walkable distance to the cafe.

Bean Around Cafe’ Menu

The menu has everything you would expect in a cafe with light meals such as waffles and sandwiches.

This place is a bit cheaper than Were Bean Coffee a bit. They serve Iced-Cappuccinos for 90THB.

Walkable distance from BTS station

Even people living in Thailand are not familiar with Rang Nam road.

But it is a popular place for students and expats since the rents are lower in the Victory Monument area.

There are many cram schools and language schools near Phaya Thai station, which is located in the south of Anusawary. It is a popular place for students coming to Thailand for schooling.

With less than 10 minutes away from Victory Monument Station and King Power Duty-Free store in front of the cafe, going for a walk just seeing the sights might be your option.

Opens relatively early; 7:30 AM.

This is Rang Nam Street from the counter seated terrace. In the front is the King Power Duty-Free Store.

The overview of Bean Around Cafe

The cafe is not quite to my expectations as a nomad cafe but work is still doable.

But there is a perfect nomad cafe nearby so people looking for a cafe to do work tend to go there instead of this cafe.

This cafe is more for relaxing and chilling or for a place to just meet up with somebody.
